November 10, 2020
Matt and Lydia got married all the way in Nappanee, IN last Friday at Coppes Commons, a beautiful, brick venue right in town! They knew each other for 7 months at church before they actually started dating January of 2020, but it wasn’t very long before they both knew they found the one. On June 6 (exactly five months before their wedding!), Matt finally got the ring and proposed, but they had already started planning their wedding before that! If you all could meet these two, you could quickly see how unique and pure their love for one another is! Their love story is so unique because they didn’t waste ANY time, and I think it’s the coolest thing…when you know, you know!
For a November wedding, we were expecting a cold, dreary, and windy day, but instead, it was 74 degrees and sunny…we literally couldn’t have asked it to be more beautiful! At the first look, Matt kept saying over and over again “You’re so beautiful! You’re SO beautiful. Goodness, you’re sooooooo beautiful.” The pure EXCITEMENT they both showed to just be together, to finally get married, and to be with their favorite people reminded me so much of why I love shooting weddings. Instead of dinner, they had tables and tables of beautiful charcuterie boards full of cheese, meats, crackers, veggies, dips, fruit, anything you could think of! YUM…one of my favorite “meals” at a wedding so far!
