September 29, 2020
Fall weddings are here, and Mason and Lindsay’s day was such a beautiful start at Sugar Grove Vineyard in Newton, IA! Their beautiful daughter, Henley, was born in January 2019, and they knew they wanted to be a true family. They got married at the courthouse a week after Henley’s birth, and although September 26, 2020 is their wedding “celebration day”, these two have actually been married for over 1.5 years. In a way, it made this past Saturday so special – their daughter got to be a part of the day, and everything was such a beautiful reminder to celebrate the good things in life, focus on each other, and always trust God’s plan.
These two met in January of 2018 through a mutual friend/Lindsay’s maid of honor, Hannah! Not long after they met, Hannah got married and Lindsay was her bridesmaid, and I happened to second shoot that wedding with Seneca Epley….so many details that worked out perfectly for us all to be connected!
Lindsay’s attention detail and overall taste in style and design is AMAZING…you’ll see that in all these photos! She thought about every little detail and the whole day came together so perfectly! It was the perfect start-to-fall day, besides a little bit of wind, and they were even still able to have their ceremony outside!
I know that Mason, Lindsay and Henley were already officially a family of three, but it’s a blessing being a witness to new vows, exchange of rings, and a big celebration for the marriage and life they have already started together but want to continue building in the decades to come!
