Celebration Farm Iowa City Wedding | Jeff & Kristi

This day was so special…like so special. If you remember back to their engagement session, you’ll know that they are extremely close to their family, as well as their grandparents. Yes, Jeff and Kristi’s wedding day was about them, but it was also about celebrating the love and legacy of their loved ones! From the diamond from his late great grandmother’s ring in her ring, her grandma’s handkerchief that she carried with her, the spot saved in memory of his grandparents at the ceremony, all the way to the Longevity dance at night, Jeff and Kristi made their grandparents apart of their own love story. It was so beautiful!

Their wedding took place at The Celebration Farm in Iowa City and it was such a perfect place for them to celebrate all the love…outdoor ceremony and a big dance floor! Kristi created one of the most gorgeous color palettes I have ever seen; it was “succulent themed”, so lots of light blues, mints, dusty blues, and greens. Instead of doing real flowers for their bouquets, they had flowers made of wood, then hand painted each of them…it went perfectly with her vision! Thanks to Kristi being so organized, the day ran so smoothly, and it was obvious they both, as well as everyone else, enjoyed the wedding day more because of it!

These bridesmaid’s dresses are some of my favorite ever! So pretty!

Kristi’s son, Devin was a part of the ceremony as well, and it was so sweet as they became a family of three!

Kristi’s sister, Audrey, owns Sweet Cheeks Tasty Treats and she made all the cupcakes, cake pops, and other desserts…they were AMAZING!!!

Both of her grandparents were the last two dancing during the longevity dance – so many years of marriage to celebrate! I can already envision Jeff and Kristi years down the road dancing like this at their kids and grandkid’s weddings!
