Meet Aaron and Natalie! Their engagement session was supposed to be in the evening, but after looking at the radar all day, they were able to take off work early and drive all the way from Cedar Falls just in time to start the session early! Thank goodness they were so sweet and flexible because not 30 minutes after we finished, it started POURING rain with a tornado warning. We were all so glad we got such a beautiful afternoon despite the coming storm!
These two have been together about three and a half years, and Aaron proposed last Christmas. They wanted to have their own date night before they left town to visit family, so they went out for dinner and drinks, then planned to open gifts after at home. Aaron didn’t want to wait until then to pop the question, so he asked after dinner while the band played! What is even sweeter is that he proposed with a ring that had the diamond from his mom’s ring after her fiancé past away a few years ago.
“I love how he make me laugh, eases my anxiety when I start to worry about things, how affectionate he is, his wiliness to try new things, his love to cook, his love for the Hawkeyes and how he is masculine but at the same time sensitive and emotional.”
“I love how she enjoys much of the same interests as me (sports, music, food). She can always put a smile on my face no matter how I’m feeling.”
